#Challenges 2018 Reading Challenges

Published January 5, 2018 by Ashley Montgomery

2017 has come and gone and us readers are gearing up for another year in books. I hope that your year went better than mine did. Several hospital visits and working a lot seriously cut down on my reading time. I’m hoping this year brings me better health and more time for reading among other things.

Some of us opt to participate in challenges to help us meet our goals, try something new, or even just for the fun of it. Whatever the reason may be, it’s time to decide what challenges we’re up for.

Due to my lack of time due to working two jobs and my major health concerns, 2017 was not a good year for me, reading or otherwise. I was hoping last year would be my comeback year to fulfill my love of reading and I even tried my hand at hosting a challenge. Unfortunately that was not the case. I failed miserably at both.

With that said, these are the challenges I’ve chosen for this year. Clicking on the challenge logo will take you to view host’s post where you can read more information and sign up for yourself.

  • Hi Ashley! I am a fellow guest of J.G’s challenges and came to tell you about my four. I work at getting the word out because I run them February to January, so that we are only busy with what we need to be in November (my birthday) and December (Jesus’s)! They are not to be missed because they are the flexible groups a lot of folks are looking for, just as I hoped! This is my fifth year.

Now that I am at your blog, I am sorry to see you were sick. Reading what you want, at the right time, is important. I pray for you to have good health this year! In spring 2017, I had to prepare myself for my parents selling our childhood home, who did not allow the time or stamina to properly going through belongings. I drove to the city every day and week-ends to do that, confining my cats at home more than they liked. The day I was done saving family history and useful things and I should have been able to relax, one cat took off. They are our sons and daughters and I won’t be myself until Conan is back. We have faith that he will walk home in spring. We are grateful to whomever we are sure has kept him safe and warm but wish they would pay attention to his tattoo or store posters. So you see, you & I both need resolutions to what what ailed us in 2018. I am sure everything will be all right! Sincerely, Carolyn. https://cmriedel.wordpress.com/headquarters-2018/
